The tattoo came first
I’m Matt Brewer, and I love boba tea to the point of obsession. Last year I came back from a trip to Japan that stayed with me, and got a big tattoo of a capybara drinking boba on my leg. Bobara grew out of that, and Momo with it.
Since 2015 I’ve mostly built software for other people. Bobara is my own, made in evenings, early mornings and lunch breaks around a day job. It’s a labor of love, and a little of me put out into the world. I hope Momo makes somebody smile in the middle of a busy day.
